Give your staff something that lasts.
A verified recommendation is one of the most meaningful things you can give a seasonal staff member at the end of a season—something they'll use for the rest of their career.
Why a Verified Recommendation Matters More Now
Seasonal and camp roles develop real skills that are hard to prove on paper—and in an era of AI-polished applications, that gap is only growing.
- Soft skills that can't be faked — Leadership, initiative, creativity, and resilience under pressure. A verified recommendation from you is often the only proof your staff have of the qualities that matter most.
- AI has leveled the resume — When every application looks polished, a verified endorsement from someone who actually saw them work carries more weight than ever before.
- Early-career roles are hard to verify — For many staff members, a seasonal role may be their first real work experience. Your word is what makes it credible to future employers.
- A meaningful close to every season — It's a way to recognize hard work that goes beyond a reference letter in a drawer—something they can use in every future application.
How It Works
- Go to the Send Recommendation page — No account needed. Enter the staff member's name and email, describe your relationship (e.g. "Camp Director at Sunrise Camp, summer 2025"), and write your recommendation.
- Submit — takes about 5 minutes — You can also confirm their role and dates, and optionally verify skills like leadership or communication. Each submission is reviewed by our team before being approved.
- Staff member receives it — They're notified by email and can add the verified recommendation to their Curridex profile to use in any future application—for years to come.
Completely free for you to send. The staff member pays a $10 fee only after their credential is successfully verified—and only if they choose to claim it.
What You Can Recognize
- Role & dates — Confirm their position, responsibilities, and dates of employment—the foundation of any work history.
- Skills — Verify specific abilities: leadership, communication, problem-solving, creativity, physical skills—whatever they demonstrated.
- Written recommendation — A personal endorsement in your own words. Staff can use this wherever they apply for the rest of their career.
